Life Matters host Brendan O'Connell continues his conversation with Jessica Vaughan. Jessica Vaughan is the director of policy studies at the Center for Immigration Studies. Vaughn shares her views towards migratory policies as an issue of national interest, as opposed to a human rights or civil issue. Immigration is scrutinized under the scopes of national security, fiscal demand and labor concern. Current actions taken by Donald Trump as President and rulings against these by district courts are placed in question as a constitutional crisis arises. The results of Trump's actions are assessed in terms of their effectiveness at the border with immigration, drug contraband and human trafficking. Other topics on governance are discussed including the use of English uniquely as the official language of the U.S.
