On the first half host Larry Higginbottom discusses the challenges of parenting alone. The most important part of preventative care is prepared parents and the challenges of single parenting are tremendous if the parents have a child when they are too young and the parents lack maturity or time. Lack of funding, resources, and housing also test single parents. On the second half of the show Larry speaks on the real definitions of such terms as homophobic, xenophobic, racism, etc and how they are incorrectly used out of context to label individuals and groups alike. Disagreement isn't grounds to qualify the use of these words to label or disparage whole groups or ethnicities and too much are these words used to shut down honest discourse.
